Such a blessing it has been to be at El Sembrador and to spend time with the boys there. It is pretty clear by the tears and hugs today that our hearts have been touched forever. Honduras has truly captured our hearts in the form of some boys becoming men at a school that Jesus is using to change Catacamas and Olancho and Honduras and even Nappanee. It’s pretty amazing. IMPACT Post: Day 9 “Debrief Begins”

This post is going up before we start, to covet your prayers for this team as we begin the debrief process. So many times we go through experiences in life and we don’t take the time we need to, immediately after the experience, to carve out time to press into what God may want to say about this trip. But, that’s one of the things that I love about IMPACT. So, beginning today, we are going to be spending a whole lot of time with Jesus, asking Him to speak to us about our trip and the catalytic moments we had that will lead us to our next steps in life. For some, these could be complete changes in direction. For others, a realization of the life that they could have. Still for others, it could be a call to missions, vocation, or a lifestyle change. With the changes we had to make in the schedule because of some opportunities we had at the schools we had all of our VBS today and what a day we had doing VBS today! More kids came than we expected, but it was so good to see the bright shining faces as we poured out raw Love on these students. Of the kids that were there, about 25-30 committed to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ today! That was totally amazing! So many smiles on their faces as we made balloons for them and painted their faces and shared about the love that Jesus has for them. It was a great time. [Read more...]

Sorry for the delay in posting. The internet has been a bit sketchy at the times that we were free to post.
We have had an amazing couple of days down here in Catacamas. Students are experiencing some amazing things and God is revealing Himself in some awesome ways. I am very excited to see the students start to debrief their trip and see how God continues to speak to them about their lives. [Read more...]
